To all the who have been touched by this Act of violence and violation! My heart is with you.(Joh 16:20) I can guarantee this truth: You will cry because you are sad, but the world will be happy. You will feel pain, but your pain will turn to happiness.

(Joh 16:21) A woman has pain when her time to give birth comes. But after the child is born, she doesn’t remember the pain anymore because she’s happy that a child has been brought into the world.

(Joh 16:22) “Now you’re in a painful situation. But I will see you again. Then you will be happy, and no one will take that happiness away from you.

(Joh 16:23) When that day comes, you won’t ask me any more questions. I can guarantee this truth: If you ask the Father for anything in my name, he will give it to you.

(Joh 16:24) So far you haven’t asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive so that you can be completely happy.

(1Th 4:13) Brothers and sisters, we don’t want you to be ignorant about those who have died. We don’t want you to grieve like other people who have no hope.

(1Th 4:14) We believe that Jesus died and came back to life. We also believe that, through Jesus, God will bring back those who have died. They will come back with Jesus.

(1Th 4:15) We are telling you what the Lord taught. We who are still alive when the Lord comes will not go into his kingdom ahead of those who have already died.

(1Th 4:16) The Lord will come from heaven with a command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the dead who believed in Christ will come back to life.

(1Th 4:17) Then, together with them, we who are still alive will be taken in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. In this way we will always be with the Lord.

(1Th 4:18) So then, comfort each other with these words!

Let these words comfort us all no matter how we feel about Guns or Gun control. Let us pray without stopping for those who need comforting!
