Gospel Jazz Show 108
(Gen 28:12) And he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to the heavens. And behold, angels of God ascended and descended upon it.
(Gen 28:13) And behold, Jehovah stood above it. And he said, I am Jehovah, the God of Abraham, thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land on which thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed.
(Gen 28:14) And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south; and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
(Gen 28:15) And behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places to which thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee until I have done what I have spoken to thee of.
(Gen 28:16) And Jacob awoke from his sleep, and said, Surely Jehovah is in this place, and I knew it not.
(Gen 28:17) And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
(Gen 28:18) And Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had made his pillow, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil on the top of it.
(Gen 28:19) And he called the name of that place Beth-el; but the name of that city was Luz at the first.
(Gen 28:20) And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and keep me on this road that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and a garment to put on,
(Gen 28:21) and I come again to my father’s house in peace—then shall Jehovah be my God.
(Gen 28:22) And this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God’s house; and of all that thou wilt give me I will without fail give the tenth to thee.
(Joh 1:11) He came to his own, and his own received him not;
(Joh 1:12) but as many as received him, to them gave he the right to be children of God, to those that believe on his name;
(Joh 1:13) who have been born, not of blood, nor of flesh’s will, nor of man’s will, but of God.

(Php 3:12) Not that I have already obtained the prize , or am already perfected; but I pursue, if also I may get possession of it , seeing that also I have been taken possession of by Christ Jesus .
(Php 3:13) Brethren, *I* do not count to have got possession myself; but one thing—forgetting the things behind, and stretching out to the things before,
(Php 3:14) I pursue, looking towards the goal, for the prize of the calling on high of God in Christ Jesus.

Gospel Jazz Show 106
(Joh 14:1) Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe on God, believe also on me.
(Joh 14:2) In my Father’s house there are many abodes; were it not so, I had told you: for I go to prepare you a place;
(Joh 14:3) and if I go and shall prepare you a place, I am coming again and shall receive you to myself, that where I am ye also may be.
(Joh 14:4) And ye know where I go, and ye know the way.
(Joh 14:5) Thomas says to him, Lord, we know not where thou goest, and how can we know the way?
(Joh 14:6) Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father unless by me.
(Joh 14:7) If ye had known me, ye would have known also my Father, and henceforth ye know him and have seen him.
(Joh 14:8) Philip says to him, Lord, shew us the Father and it suffices us.
(Joh 14:9) Jesus says to him, Am I so long a time with you, and thou hast not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how sayest thou, Shew us the Father?
(Joh 14:10) Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words which I speak to you I do not speak from myself; but the Father who abides in me, he does the works.
(Joh 14:11) Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me; but if not, believe me for the works’ sake themselves.
(Joh 14:12) Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works which I do shall he do also, and he shall do greater than these, because I go to the Father.
(Joh 14:13) And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, this will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
(Joh 14:14) If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.
(Joh 14:15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.
(Joh 14:16) And I will beg the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,
(Joh 14:17) the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him nor know him; but ye know him, for he abides with you, and shall be in you.
(Joh 14:18) I will not leave you orphans, I am coming to you.
(Joh 14:19) Yet a little and the world sees me no longer; but ye see me; because I live ye also shall live.
(Joh 14:20) In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
(Joh 14:21) He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; but he that loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.
(Joh 14:22) Judas, not the Iscariote, says to him, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself to us and not to the world?
(Joh 14:23) Jesus answered and said to him, If any one love me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.
(Joh 14:24) He that loves me not does not keep my words; and the word which ye hear is not mine, but that of the Father who has sent me.
(Joh 14:25) These things I have said to you, abiding with you;
(Joh 14:26) but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and will bring to your remembrance all the things which I have said to you.
(Joh 14:27) I leave peace with you; I give my peace to you: not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it fear.
(Joh 14:28) Ye have heard that I have said unto you, I go away and I am coming to you. If ye loved me ye would rejoice that I go to the Father, for my Father is greater than I.
(Joh 14:29) And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it shall have come to pass ye may believe.
(Joh 14:30) I will no longer speak much with you, for the ruler of the world comes, and in me he has nothing;
(Joh 14:31) but that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father has commanded me, thus I do. Rise up, let us go hence.

Gospel Jazz Podcast (Thanksgiving Break) Replay show 54
Thanks Giving
(1Th 5:18) in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus towards you;
(Psa 95:2) Let us come before his face with thanksgiving; let us shout aloud unto him with psalms.
(Psa 100:4) Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise; give thanks unto him, bless his name:
(Php 4:6) Be careful about nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Gospel Jazz Show 105
(Rom 4:17) (according as it is written, I have made thee father of many nations,) before the God whom he believed, who quickens the dead, and calls the things which be not as being;
(Rom 4:18) who against hope believed in hope to his becoming father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be:
(Rom 4:19) and not being weak in faith, he considered not his own body already become dead, being about a hundred years old, and the deadening of Sarah’s womb,
(Rom 4:20) and hesitated not at the promise of God through unbelief; but found strength in faith, giving glory to God;
(Rom 4:21) and being fully persuaded that what he has promised he is able also to do;
(Rom 4:22) wherefore also it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
